If you ever see me wearing makeup, you will spot my red lipstick. I am a total sucker for red lips and that is my comfort zone. You can find ten different shades of red in my collection and I  always think twice before picking up a darker shade because I  find it daunting . So, yesterday I just decided to go out of my zone and do something entirely different, and I came up with this look. This is so bohemian and yet looks so Indian. It was so simple to do this, you just need to grab some of the beauty stuffs lying around in your dressing room and you are good to go. I only used a contour brush for bronzing my face and the rest of the makeup was done by my fingers, so you need not worry about spending a lot on brushes while creating this look…

I have used Maybelline Fit me Foundation in the shade 315 for my base. As I wanted medium coverage and I felt this foundation did its job quite well. Although, when I took a picture with a flash my face had a bit of white cast on it. Something to keep in mind.

Then I dotted some Maybelline Fit me concealer under my eyes and patted it with my fingers, around my mouth, on my cheeks. Basically, everywhere I have a bit of dark spots. This concealer is bomb, the formula is so nice and it blends like a dream. I set my base with Nation Translucent Loose Power by using the puff which comes with it.

Next, I contoured my face using Maybelline MasterContour V, this is something entirely new to me. I never used a stick contour stick before so I was very impressed with this one as it did exactly what I wanted it to do. This got two sides to it, one for contouring another for highlighting, I used it on the higher points of my cheekbones and my chin. Then went over with Makeup revolution  Duo Face sculpt with Real Techniques contour brush, and used power contour and highlight to set my cream contour and highlight in place.

I did not want a lot of color on my eyes, so I used Natio Blush in the shade Rosewood all over my eye lids by patting it with my fingers. It is dark pinkish brown shade which went well with this look. Even I used it as my blush on my cheeks.

I quickly filled in my eyebrows with Mayeblline Master Brow pro pallet in the shade Deep Brown. Whenever I need a quick fix I always go for this. The brow power and wax does an amazing job.

Later, I sprayed my Mac Fix+ this is just magic in a bottle, I cannot even emphasise how much I love this. As I wanted a really healthy glow on my face, I had to use this. As this takes away all the extra powder you have in your face and gives a nice glow. I topped up the glow on my cheeks with Miss Claire Born to Glow Illuminatior Makeup Base, this is quite a mouthful. I used this for the very first time as it just a dark golden highlight. I thought this will just bind the look together.

Then, I created a wing liner using Maybelline master Precise liquid eyeliner. This is a ultra fine tip liner and you can easily achieve a sharp wing without a fuss. As it dried down, I added two stone bindis on each side of the liner, just to add a bit of bling to the look. Then coated my eyelashes with two coats of  Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express masara.

I filled up my lips with Maybelline Colorshow in the shade Wine Festival. It is a nice wine color and is highly pigmented and smooth. You will be alright with just one swipe and this shade totally goes with the fall season.

Finally, I created the black bindis on my forehead and even in the middle of my brows with Maybelline The Colosal Kajal. I had a bit of problem to get the right pigmentation but after coating it for two times, I got it as desired and then just added silver hula earrings.
